BAUM = TREE

A symbol of earth, health and life, trees are a critical component of functional and beautiful landscapes. Trees bring ecological gains by supporting all oxygen-dependent life on earth, but they also serve as visual icons of the environment and partners to humanity through their visual, structural, and renewable characteristics.

Welt = World

The world is our medium and our home. We all occupy one world, so we must seek ways to coexist on this planet now if we hope to witness a livable future. Throughout the advancement of humanity, the world has remained a finite resource that we must respect and consider in all we do.

BAU = BUILD

We are builders and doers who take initiative and see our designs constructed. We partner with those most capable of realizing the build-out of our plans. We also build foundations and relationships with others in an effort to deliver inclusive and thoughtful work.

UMWELT = ENVIRONMENT

Umwelt, whose literal translation is environment, is a philosophical concept of the world as it is experienced by a particular organism. We believe in opening our eyes and setting aside any preconceptions we hold in an effort to holistically understand our projects, who they affect, and how they can better all life on Earth.
